Codeage Keto Carb FocusOur next product up for review is Codeage Keto Carb Focus, which is promoted as a supplement for keto or low-carb diets as well as for healthy weight management. This product is vegan, non-GMO, third-party tested, and manufactured in a GMP-certified facility. But is this enough to make it a successful product? When reviewing this product, we were pleased to see a price tag that suggests quality – not cheap, but definitely affordable. We appreciated that this product is formulated with white kidney bean, cinnamon, and green tea, as they are all effective for weight loss, according to clinical studies. However, it is unclear to us if this formula will actually be effective. With only 500mg of white kidney bean powder, Codeage has manufactured a product that contains only half of the dose of our Editor’s Choice. In order to get enough of this crucial ingredient, you would have to double your daily dosage, which is generally not recommended. Also, since the green tea is not decaffeinated, you might want to think twice before adding more caffeine to your diet. Additionally, some key ingredients were missing for us. A high-quality carb blocker should include a significant dose of chromium, digestive enzymes, and a bioenhancer. Together, these ingredients ensure that you are attacking the weight loss process safely and from all possible angles, but unfortunately, they were not included in this product. If consumers would like to try this product, they should be aware that the return policy only covers only one item and only for 30 days. Natrol Carb Intercept With Phase 2Natrol Carb Intercept With Phase 2 claims to be an effective carb blocker that supports weight loss goals by delaying the digestion of carbohydrates. It is vegetarian and non-GMO. The dose of white kidney bean is about 800mg, which is more than most brands but still less than is found in our Editor’s Choice product. Additionally, a very small amount of chromium is included, and since no bioenhancer is present in the formula, we worry that it won’t be absorbed efficiently enough to make any difference. This leaves us wondering how beneficial this product can be. No thermogenic herbs or digestive enzymes were included either, so the benefits of this product for metabolism just don’t seem optimal. We did like that this product includes Phase 2, a clinically tested white kidney bean extract. This product also comes with a money-back guarantee, but it wasn’t really elaborated anywhere on the website, which makes us nervous about terms and conditions that may apply. The inclusion of allergens such as milk, soy, and gluten was also off-putting. Continue reading our full review to see what this product has to offer. |
